Our Trip to Fort Edmonton

The grade 4′s enjoyed their trip to Fort Edmonton last week. The weather was a little cool, but dry. The students had an opportunity to visit the differnent buildings within the Fort compound. They experienced how the Fur Traders traded for basic supplies needed for everyday living and the value of different furs. Our tour guide was able to capture the attention of every student by sharing many exciting stories about the fur trade times. Here are a few photo’s of our trip.

Student Led Conferences

Student Led Conference starts today and the kids are excited. They have worked very hard to prepare and showcase some of their work to their parents. It is always exciting to observe the students take the lead role during these meetings. We hope everyone can come.
